Why Exhibit?

International Caravan & Motorhome 2010 is the UK’s biggest caravan and motorhome show, taking up 9 halls of Birmingham’s NEC over six days, delivering an audience of caravan, motorhome and outdoor enthusiasts.

Last year a record 79,218 visitors attended the show over the six days (a 13% increase on 2008), spending a total of over £100 million. This year we expect to welcome even more visitors.

Taking place in October the show is perfectly placed in the calendar for visitors to be the first to see next year’s brand new models, and order in time for delivery in the New Year. Last year’s show saw the official launch of the prestigious Bailey Pegasus and the exciting Stealth Caravan as well as many other new models and products.

Many of our exhibitors last year enjoyed record levels of sales thanks to the huge number of visitors we delivered; that goes for both high and lower value products. Leading manufacturer Bailey Caravans enjoyed their best ever sales performance at an exhibition in terms of both volume and value of orders, and first time exhibitor ‘Flush-It’ introducing their new cleaning product ‘One-Chem’ sold more than double their targeted amount - selling at an amazing rate of one bottle every two minutes!

Exhibitors at last year’s show were so impressed that over 50% of them rebooked for this year’s show on-site there and then, many of them taking additional space.

What are the visitors looking for?

We surveyed our visitors and this is what they told us:

80% purchased accessories at the show
30% attended to research before making a new purchase
15% attended to the show with the specific intention of purchasing a new unit

Remember, the proud owner of a brand new caravan or motorhome they have just purchased is much more likely to purchase accessories - they are already in buying mode.

Over 80% of our visitors spend the whole day at the show. Many of them stay at the on-site campsite and visit the show over two or three days. This gives you more opportunity and time to close the deal.

34% of visitors said they were new-comers to caravanning and motorhoming – that they are at the beginning of their caravanning or motorhoming life-cycle. These are potential customers essential to growing your business.

Once you have booked your stand, you will benefit from the pre show marketing campaign we implement to ensure we attract as many visitors to the show as possible. It is important that you let us know your plans for the show in terms of new launches, show offers etc so that we can help you to spread the word in the lead up to the show.
